In the proposed design some of the traditional ideas are followed and some new are invented. At the level of the human height the plan is based on a transformed cross-shape, whichis formed out of rectalinear walls. This cross-shaped form does not preserve the bilateral symmetry of the traditional church plan. But, the  axis of movement, from the entrance to the altar is emphasized by two parallel series of columns. The higher part of the edifice is composed out of  free curved forms resting upon the rectalinear parts.
